project experience
I did my thesis in Environmental Psychology and Behavioral Psychology, studying the relationships between design, environment and behavior. This background helped me create a lens by which to view landscape architecture and planning as the ground plane for the complex choreography of movements and behaviors that occur within a place.
Graduate work:
While at Penn, my graduate work focused on large scale regional and urban planning, environmental design, and writing. In the 2007 Peter Latz student competition, I participated in the international week-long design study in Freising, Germany, to help develop conceptual plans for the redevelopment of the oldest brewery/monastery in Europe.
